I have some information about this branch from my grandmother... would love to know more if anyone can connect with it.
John Elliot, born in Northern Ireland 1762, married Mary Miller in Pennsylvania about 1786. Their oldest child, Simon, was a farmer and miller born April 4, 1788 near Remington, Ohio. He married Maria Stinson Robinson on February 12, 1818. They were the parents of six children. The fifth of these, Arthur Elliot, was a carpenter who was born near Remington, Ohio. He married Achsa Hayford on October 28, 1852. They had five children, including two sets of twins including Mary Hayford Elliot and Myra Doan Elliot. Mary Hayford Elliot married Colin S. Avey on December 7, 1873.
