I am curious if the family I describe below is connected with the Peter Ellington you describe? Do you have any information that would lead to that conclusion? I hope so.
Thanks for your time and trouble.

I am still looking for information on the parents and siblings of William Thacker Ellington, born about 1818 in the area of Petersburg, Va. His father was William Ellington, possibly a tobacco planter, who married Julia Thacker, probably not long before 1818, as Wm T. Ellington was the oldest of fifteen children. Also William Ellington had a brother Stanfield Ellington who moved to Tennessee before 1839, the year Wm. T. Ellington moved to Lewisburg, Marshall County, to live near this uncle's farm three miles west of Lewisburg, until he settled in a place of his own in Farmington, same county. I know the exploits and descendants of William Thacker Ellington pretty well, especially in Tishomingo County, Mississippi, and later in Hill, Parker and Jones counties, Texas, but would appreciate any information on his parents, sisters and brothers. This is a repeat posting, but my e-mail address has changed and it's been awhile since the last try. Thank you for your time folks.
