Hi Annette,
I logged off then looked at my Ellingsworth book I have and I found them in my misc. information.I'm not quite sure how their related to us, but I'm pretty sure that George is related. He lived at 11 1/4 Ave in Moline, Rock Island Co., IL according to the 1910 Census. My Great Grandparents lived at 11 3/4 Ave.
Listed on the Census it states the following:
George Ellingsworth Head--M--W--Age 53--M1--32yrs--Birth Place IL--Fathers: MD--Mothers--MD.
Clara--Wife--F--Age 52--M1--32yrs--2 born--both Living--Birth Place: OH--Mothers: PA--Fathers: PA.
I have a note on my page that says Bertha and Clarence--Clarence married an Augusta (Gusty).I believe that these were their two Children.
George is listed as being a Painter in trade and then it says Elevator Factory.
My Great Granparents also lived in Henry Co., IL.
On the 1910 Census my Great Grandfather is listed as being 67 so, my guess would be that George could be his nephew.John Lemuel Ellingsworth who was my Great Grandfather was the youngest in the family and was born in MD, so your George is probably one of his older brothers sons or he could be perhaps a cousin.I am not sure of his relationship at this time, but I do recognize the name Bertha and Gusty.Let me know what else you have--then maybe I can figure this out!
Thanks again,
Terry
