Thanks so much for replying. My fathers name is Dennis as well, his middle name is Albert. I went to a few of the meetings for the Sons of Norway and even the TX Norwegian Society. I am recently married and my wife is hispanic and doesnt understand the culture or the horror that is leutifisk (sp?). I can remember that horrible fish being part of every holiday and grandpa eating the whole pan by himself... know wonder he died. I beleive there was a book published about the Ellingson clan years ago, I was very young when I saw it, but I remember something to the effect of there being a town or village in Norway that was named Ellingson. I guess I am floored by how many Ellingsons there are. I kinda thought it was a unique name. Thanks for any other info you may have. eric
