Am researching For family In Buskerud county, Lier Parish, Froggner subparish on the farm Wahl Hovedgaard. Have found this info in the 1801 census. My gggrandfather Aage Ellingson (Ellingsen) came from norway to either wisconsin or minnesota. His fathers name was Elling Johnssen. And His fathers name was John Helgessen, who was married to Birte-Catarine Aagesdtr. With them at the time of the census lived John's mother Barbro Ellingsdtr. Does anyone know any more on this line? I posted this same message on the norway genweb site some time ago Hopefully someone will know more here!
