I was browsing through the messages looking for any information on my grandmothers branch of the tree. I'm looking for information regarding Anton Ellingson from Norway. I see you were looking for an Anton also. Did you find what you were looking for?
This is what I know:
Anton Ellingson born in Norway married to Johanna Larson born in Minnesota or N Dakota. They had a child that I know of: Marvin L Ellingson b. 1/8/1899 in Wheaton, MN married Charlotte B Pederson b. 10/3/1896 in Bardu, Norway d. 7/29/1989. They had 5 children: Marvin Leslie b. 12/20/23 d. 12/9/1991 Kenneth b. 10/24/1929 d. 12/24/1994 Arlene b. 12/19/1922 d. 11/13/1989 Hazel b. abt 1924 Rodney and David born after Kenneth. (Arlene was my grandmother)
The 1930 census says Marvin, Sr mother was born in North Dakota but the death cert says she was born in Minnesota.
Is any of this connected to your Anton Ellingson? I will be searching with various spellings after my quick browse.
