Deborah... Sorry, but I do not know of Minnie Killingsworth.

The Dukes were implicated in a murder/robbery in Jackson County, Alabama and are in the records there. David Dukes died in prison, and according to family stories, was exonerated after his death. His wife, Matilda Killingsworth Dukes, daughter of Martha "Frankie" Elliott and Matthew Killingsworth, then moved to Texas and married David M. Davidson in 1861.

About Catharine Elliott, half Cherokee wife of Richard Cheek, I have no information. Catharine is, however a family name. Thanks for the information... Betty
