Betty: my mother's g grandfather David Alfred Derrick CSA of Woodville, Al married Melvina Perkins..after her death, he married Minnie Killingsworth- a daughter of Sampson Killingsworth. I think Sampson Killingsworth married a Walker and is buried in the Walker Cemetery at Hebron, Alabama. I'm sure Sampson's family are from Killingsworth Cove, Madison County, Al.. I also found some info on the Dukes brothers in the early Jackson County Records..didn't they leave Madison County?..there is some info on two Dukes brothers in the Jackson County Records..
