Mary Mattoch Elliott Eckels Ryan

I'm looking for information about Mary Mattoch who married William Perry Ellet (or Elliott) youngest son of Edward Ellet/Elliott in Monroe County, Indiana Jan 1, 1850. Subsequently Mary and William Perry moved to DeWitt County, Illinois where their son Delana R. Elliott was born in 1852.In June 1855 Mary Elliott married William S. Eckels in DeWitt County. William S. was the son of Delana R Eckels and Louisa Elliott Eckels of Putnam Co. Indiana. Louisa was William Perry's eldest sister. William S. and Mary returned to Putnam Co shortly after the birth of their son James Eckels in 1856. Mary divorced William S. in 1863. She subsequently married Peter Ryan. The 1880 US census shows her and Peter along with four of her Eckels children plus two Ryans living in Bloomington, Ind. Sometime thereafter the family moved to Murphysboro, Illinois. Mary's son Delana R. Elliott continued to live with William S. at least for a while following the divorce and his wife Anna Etolla Elliot died while visiting Murphysboro in 1893 and is buried there. Mary may be buried in a nearby plot but cemetery records were destroyed and the grave marker is too weathered to be read. If anybody has any information about how the marriage to William Perry Ellet/Elliott ended (divorce or death), about Mary's parents, and/or when or where she died, I would appreciate hearing from them. Last known contact is a 1985 letter from Delana R Elliott's grandson John Elliott of Jefferson City Mo to the Murphysboro Historical Society.
