Your advice is certainly worth heeding and I will most certainly follow it and post whatever I find that is pertinent on this forum. I do appreciate your help. And you are correct in the locations of both Hanover and King Wiliam Counties, both being, at one time, part of New Kent County. As you know many, mistakenly, have assumed that the name was spelled "Elliot" but one only needs to research the "Ellett" surrname in the Richmond area and environs to see that it was one of the most highly respected in that area, they sitting in counsel on many of the decisions of that period.
