So...has anyone run across anything about a Mary Frances or Frances Edwards, born about 1846 ? She's my GGGgrandmother. Her daughter was Mary Ellen Bohannon (don't know the husband's name) who married Henry Loyd.Their daughter, Effie Pearl Loyd, married Fred Allen Peterson, who was my great grandfather.
The family thinks that this branch of our ancestry is likely Cherokee, but they lost track of just who was who a couple of generations ago, now no one seems to know anything for sure... I mean to fix that, however I'm just getting started at geneology, and I really don't know where to go to find out.
