While doing research on my wife's lineage I have come across a Kate Ellery in the 1870 census records. Kate Ellery would have been 18 years old in 1870 and is listed as living in Fort Gratiot Township,(Port Huron), Michigan, in the house of David Belyea as doing domestic work. Does anybody have anything on a Kate Ellery of that time and place? Any help would be appreciated.
