When I check for the name ELLERD in the Gen Forum, it did not exist. The Web Master kindly included it and about the same time, I found that my family had spelled the name two ways, those being Ellerd in TX, OK, AR, and Ellard in the states of VA, SC, GA, AL, MS.
I hope that those that are confused about this are better informed based on my information.
I specifically asked for help in finding out more about Amos Ellard, born in VA, died 2 July 1786 Washington Co, VA
