Dear Connie,
I note that you have an ELLERBY with Quaker connections. I am trying to trace the origins and parentage of a most elusive Thomas ELLERBY (c1795-1861) who may have been a Quaker. I suspect he will have been born in either Yorkshire or Sunderland, both places where he seems to have had connections, and may have been related to a Thomas Robson ELLERBY (born Sunderland) who died in 1827 and who is definitely of a Quaker family. Any suggestions or information would be most appreciated.

Many thanks,
Roz
