Hi Brenda! The woman you are searching for is a collateral kin of mine. She was not from Alabama, but from right here in Greenwood County, SC. She was the youngest of five sisters. Bessie, Carrie, Laura, Sallie, and MINNIE LEE. She married Leonard Elmore, and both, along with a daughter are buried near her parents at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church (almost 200 year old church) in Greenwood County. This area, (judging by present day county lines ) was probably in old Abbeville District, SC. By the way her parents were James Ellenberg (died 1913, and oldest of nine children, e.g.: 4 boys and 1 girl by B. F. (Bud) and Laura Harvley Ellenberg and 4 boys by (Bud) and 2nd wife Bettie Horne Ellenberg (died ca. 1897-1899)) and James' wife, Susie Hasting(s) Ellenberg. Susie's mother, Martha Hasting, and brother, Hezekiah (Kih) Hasting are buried here, also. I would love to here from you and exchange info. Thanks, Louis Harvley
