I remember Ellenbergers from Pilot Rock,Ore. about 60 yrs. ago and wonder if they connected. They were farmers and probably obits in Eastern Oregonian, Pendleton, Ore. if you care to search further. I rememher being baby sat by some and curious if they related to Lightfoots. Very fond of Betty Lightfoot and she died about age l6 with her mother dyinga few days later.Please let me know what you find. Could also try the Umatilla Ct Hist.Soc.
