Christine & Ruth Ann we have a common ancestor, Thomas Elligood/Alligood. My line is Thomas Elligood/Alligood, wife Mary Field (his 1st wife). Their son, Richard, then Benjamin, Elisha, Jacob I, etc. Richard's sons, Richard II and Benjamin moved to North Carolina from Virginia. I am one of Benjamin's descendants who settled in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Know very little about the Elligood branch of the family but would like to exchange information.
