If my research is close to accurate, there is a "James" in just about every generation of Ellard/Ellerds, the first being James (W?) Sr. (son of Amos) Anyway, here's what I have so far:
James Ellard Sr (VA/AC) m Mary ?
2 sons - William & James Jr

James Ellard Jr - m Patsy Starret - 6 children: Wm David, Benjamin Calhoun, Elizabeth, Malinda (Vina) Martha and Amos. also married to Charity Boatright, 7 children: Thomas, James W, Nancy, Nathaniel, Charity, Mary and Lucy.

Benjamin Calhoun Ellard - m Mary (ava rilla) Roper - 5 children: Martha J, Nancy Cather, William, Mary F, Winnie Lina. Also married Susannah Shirley (1853 Habersham Co Georgia)- 4 children: Newberry Jackson, Benjamin Jackson, Margaret Taccoa, James Calhoun

James Calhoun Ellerd - m Sarah Strickland (8-14-1892 - Benton, Saline Co Arkansas) 9 children: one of whom was Benjamin Joseph. I believe this is my grandfather, however my information stops there and I haven't been able to confirm. Much of what I've found was taken from, and confirmed/expanded through vital records research.

Here's my question: Does anyone have information on the children of Benjamin Joseph Ellerd?
