Ellards of Cork, Limerick & Tipperary

I'm trying to contact anyone interested in the name: ELLARD. Am descended from Ellards living in Tipperary; apparently that group originated in Pallas Green in County Limerick. My main interest at the present time is tracing the origins of the name in Ireland; I have heard that the earliest Ellards migrated to Ireland from France in the 17th and/or 18th centuries.

I am presently in contact with other researchers interested the Ellards from County Cork. If you're related to an Ellard in any way, shape or form, please drop a note and let us hear from you.
