Not sure where your folks came from. My grandfather is Jose Maria Elizalde from Harlingen Texas who came from Mexico. According to a study I did a while back "Elizalde" ancestory comes from Spain. I had a friend who lives in Spain who tells me that Elizalde is a very common name over there in the same way Garcia or Rodriguez would be here. Good Luck.
