Hello Gary Felix.
My name is Armando J. Lopez.
I may be descended from Juan Lopez de Elizalde, in 1585, Lagos de Moreno, Mex.
My great- grandfather, Gregorio Lopez' grandfather's name was Jose Maria Lopez.
I found in the LDS archives, a Mauel Antonio Lopez de Elizalde, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mex.
His son's name was Jose Maria Lopez, b.1785.
I suspect that, his son was also named, Jose Maria Lopez.
He moved from Guadalajara, to the los Altos region, w/ my great-great grandfather, in the 1860's.
i am told that alot of the Lopez de Elizaldes were already there, since the 1760's establishment of Arandas, Jalisco.
I want to find out, were the name 'Lopez de Elizalde originates in Mexico, and when.
I can't seem to acces your web page, so i'm sending you this e-mail.
i would appreciate any of your generous input, and feedback, as i am almost certain that i descend from these ancestors.
I also figure, why else would My great-great grandfather have married, and settled in 'Los Altos', if they hadn't already been aware of the Lopez de Elizalde branch being there?
I wholly apreciate, and await any reply, at your convenience.
This would help me out alot.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely, Armando J. Lopez.
