My Eline lineage branches from Elizabeth's younger brother Jacob A. Eline (1825-1884)and his son Joseph Brooks Eline (1856-1936)and five more generations (although the Eline name of this branch died out in 1981).

With reference to Elizabeth's death date, in the 1880 census Elizabeth (widowed, aged 59) was enumerated in Emmitsburg, Maryland; daughter, Ann M. (16) lived with her, as did an adopted son Henry "Linch" (8), who was born in New York. The US Census was taken 23 June 1880, so she died sometime after that date. But don't know when. I have not found her in the 1900 US Census and she's not in Holdcraft's Names in Stone. [Elizabeth Little (daughter of Elizabeth Eline and Henry Little)was born 6 Oct 1852, died 12 May 1870, and is buried in St. Anthony's Emmitsburg; ref: Holdcraft, Vol 2, p. 721.]

Warm regards.
