I have an Albertine Elias b: 1847 in Germany in my family tree... However she married in Chicago, Illinois to an Arndt.

On Albertine's death certificate I can't read the name of the town she comes from very well. I believe it says "Pomepera". Have no clue if that is even a place or town.

Supposedly her fathers name was Ferdinand.

That is all I know..
