My family emigrated to Detroit from Touraza, Lebanon the early part of the 20th cetrury after World War 1. Our family name here is Elias but the headstone on my grandparents grave has the family name of Kuri.
From what I have been told, one of our direct anecstors was a Maronite Catholic Priest in Touraza.
My Grandfather's name was Joseph and his father's name was Charles. Charles had another son, Paul who was ordained at St. Peter's Cathederal in Rome.
