Hi, my father and also his father's name was Istvan (Steve) Elias. My grandpa was married in Debrecen, the twenties, and come to Budapest, paid much attention to the language "esperanto", died about 1964. His son (my father) was born in 1947, Budapest and died in 1988. He was called "Palestinian" by one of his very best friend, but I didn't understand it at all as i was too young. Now i know that could also mean both Jewish and Lebanese, for today this should seem to be much difficult to explain what these "cautious" expressions meant that time in Hungary (the eighties). My grandpa's wife's name was Maria Polyak, changed to Elias Istvanne after marriage. bye, Peter Notify Administrator about this message?
