He married PURCY (PERCIE) MAY SPADE, daughter of FRANKLIN SPADE and SARAH BERRY. She was born October 30, 1877 in Akron, Summit Co., Ohio, and died July 25, 1952 in Akron, Summit Co., Ohio.

Elmer Elgin Funeral To Be Wednesday
A Cuyahoga Falls resident 35 years and a Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. employe 28 years, Elmer J Elgin, 70, died Saturday at his home, 1330 Meriline av. A native of West Salem, Mr Elgin had lived in Kent and AKron before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. He was a member of the Falls Church of Christ. Mr Elgin leaves his widow, Percie M., a daughter, Mrs Blanche Goudy of the Falls; four brothers, Edwin and William, of Ravenna, Rollin of Toledo and Emmett of Akron; and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Weller funeral home with burial in Stow cemetery. Friends may call at the funderal home tonight and tuesday.

Coroner Rules Death Suicide
Cuyahoga Falls-Mrs. Blanche Jeanette Goudy, 46, of 1330 Meriline Av. died Sunday morning after hanging herself with a rope in the garage. Dr. R. E. Amos, Summit county coroner, today released a verdict of suicide. Mrs. Goudy had been ill for 12 years. She as born in Kent and had lived here for 37 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ and Cuyahoga council 71, Daughters of America. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Martha Lou; a son, Robert E. her mother Mrs. Percie Elgin, all of Cuyahoga Falls, and a grand child. Friends may call at the Weller funeral home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Stow cemetery.
