I'm researching my Ely line and have it back to Celestin Ely and his wife Mary Dwyer also of Ms. They married abt. 1830 in
Jackson Co., Ms. Their children were:
Celestin Jr.
Antoine
Ellis
Joseph
William
Desiree
Daniel
I'm looking for any info on Celestin and Mary's parents and/or siblingsSome sources say Celestin was born in Ms. and some
say he was Born in Alabama. Mary is believed to be born in Ms. I have Celestin Ely on the Jackson Co. Ms census for the
year 1830. Also there is a Daniel Dywer on the Ms census for this co. I think he may possibly be Mary's father as she named
her son Daniel. Any info on these people would be greatly appreciated. Please email me and I will be happy to share any info I
