I don't know very much about Ike's family.
My grandfather, Tom Eley, was one of Ike's 17 children from his first marriage. I don't know anything about my grandfather's whole brothers or sisters.
After my grandfather's mother died, Ike married Alice Noels, and they had four daughters: Kate Eley, who married Cliff Calhoun; Addie Mae Eley, who married a Sessums; Net Eley; and Lucy Eley.
I believe my grandfather was raised
somewhere around Lena in Leake County.
Ike's full name may have been Ike Rufas Eley.
He is buried in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Harperville, Ms.
