Hello members of the Eley family! I am trying to establish a possible link between an R. Eley and a Thomas Norsworthy in Isle of Wight County, Va. Thomas Norsworthy was born some time before 1800. His son Mahlon Ellis Norsworthy was my great-grandfather in that Mahlon's daughter Martha Ann Norsworthy married my grandfather James Gould. Martha was born in 1862. What is interesting is that I have seen and copied the Bibles of both Thomas and Mahlon and there is an obscure item where R. (maybe Robert) Eley signed his name. Does anyone know of any kinship or other link between these two families? I have been looking for 36 years. Regards,Henry Gould
