Dear Haydn, I am an Eley from Derbyshire. It's not unusual to find an Eley in Derbyshire, but pretty rare anywhere else in the country! My grandfather was also called John, his grandfather, Jock, was one of 11 brothers and sisters for whom I think we have complete information. I'll speak to my mother when I get a chance and see if we can work out where Samuel fits in. Rachel
