Hi I do not know if this helps any of you, but I recently purchased a large number of photos of the Eley family - dating 1880's - 1930's or thereabouts.
the 1880 family is Alfred & Elizabeth (Betsey)and 8 children pictured and identified. Alfred was a mining Engineer in Church Gresley Derbyhsire but the family seem to have connections with Matlock too.
