Does anyone know of a marriage or other connection between Eldridge and Mabrys? I found this record where Irwin Mabry gave for love and affection to his beloved child John Thomas Eldridge Mabry the following:

Carroll County (SC) Deed Book E
page 248. Carroll County, Irwin Mabry to John Thomas Eldridge Mabry, Love and affection for my beloved child, 20 head of hogs, nine head of cattle, 3 feather beds, and furniture, 2 bedsteads, one trunk, one chest, three tables, one bureau, one glass and crockery, five chaird, one brass clock, three head of sheep, one watch, one loom and side saddle, two horse wagon, and harness, one pot, two ovens, one skillet, one spider, one frying pan, one coffee mill, one pair waffle irons, one pot rack, one shot gun, one Jursey waggon, and harness, three plows and clevises and pin, two weeding hoes, one grubing hoe, one iron wedge, two club axes, one chop axe, one hand saw, three augures (auger?), three plains (Planes?), two chisels, one hammer and one gray mare, one black horse, one two year old horse colt and 202 1/2 acres of land whereon Irwin Mabry now lies, and 202 1/2 acres in the 28th dist. of Lee County, #154. 500 weight of bacon, three whiskey barrels, ten barrels of corn, one sock fodder, twenty five bushels sweet potatoes and two flat irons, with all the increase of said property. 7 Apr. 1843. Attest: Wm. F. Johnson, Edwin G. Wamble. 10 Jul 1845.

I know who Irwin Mabry is but don't know who he married, and thought perhaps he married an Eldridge.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
