Would like information on his parents. I believe his father was George Eldridge and there was 4 sons and 2 daughters.George lived in rural Knoxville in a log cabin is what I barely remember as a little girl.My grandmother died & I remember her lying in the house for the wake.I never knew her.George worked a farm for a family that was considered very well off in Knoxville named Vandergriff on Tazwell Pike for almost all his life I believe.The last time I was in Knoxville their home place appeared to still be there.I know that Grandfather's one son George was killed in a house fire along with his little girl while living somewhere on Broadway.His daughter Stella also resided I believe in the same area.I believe another son of George was named Lewis Eldridge.
