Hi Douglas, I've been trying to link up your information with what I have but nothing fits yet. I have found Richard & Mary's family in the 1851 census in Northiam. The family are listed as follows: Richard, Hd, 1804 born in Brede and listed as a bricklayer. Mary, Wife, born 1817 Chatham in Kent. Fanny, daughter born 1849 Brede. Fatima, born Brede 1846. Sarah, daughter, born 1844 Brede. Thomas, son, born 1847 Brede. Unnamed daughter aged 1 week born in Brede. Francis & Eleanor are not in the 1851 census although they are probably married by then. I actually live only about 8 miles from Brede so when I get the chance I'll have a look in the churchyard and see if any are buried there. Regards, Bob
