Seek information on John Eldridge, born Oct.10, 1821 in Pompey, Onondaga Co, NY. His parents were Clark and Rhoda Eldridge, natives of CT, who came to Pompey in an early day, where they spent their lives.
John married Mary Ann Caroline Stebbins (b. 21 November 1829) in Onondaga Co, NY on 30 October 1849.
John and Mary Ann had 5 children: Fred J., Frank F., Mary Elizabeth, William E. and Carrie Adele.
Some information suggests that Clark was born in Kent, Litchfield, CT, perhaps to Moses, but have not been able to verify this.Later generations spelled their name ELDRIDGE.
