Searching for descendants of H N Eldridge(b.1806) listed on
the 1850 and 1860 Austin County, TX Census. He married
Louvicey Louisa Houchin(b. 1826) on November 16, 1846. In 1850
they were living next door to John Houchin, his father-in-
law, in Austin County, TX. According to the 1860 census
he was born in New Hampshire. H N and Louvicey had two
children A J(male) born around 1852 and S V A (female)
born around 1854 in Texas. Louvicey died Decmember 29,
1868.
