I am descended from Jonathan Jackson Eldridge b. 1806, Anson Co., SC. m. Frances Pickett Lytle (Little) They moved to Kemper Co. MS abt 1854. JJ had a possible twin in Anson-James, also married to a Frances. He was dead by 185l. His only son died before 1851. There is a deed transaction between a James Eldridge of Chesterfield Co. SC (nearby) and a John Little in 1816 or so. James may have been JJ and James father. Any clues? I always thought they might have been related to the Johnson Co. Eldridges, but have found no help there.
