I have your William Wallace Eldridge in the Atlantic Co. Census' but am unable to connect him. Here is what I have for Atlantic Co. Census:
1830 Galloway Twp - William Eldridge (possibly the father?)
1850 Galloway Twp - William Eldridge age 21 enumerated with Uriah Adams
1860 Egg Harbor - William Eldridge age 31
Hannah A. age 28
Harriet S. age 8
unreadable age 3 (obviously your Alwilda)
1870 Egg Harbor - William Eldridge
1880 Egg Harbor - William Eldridge age 51
Laticia age 47
William C. age 13
Lewis age 8
Joseph age 8
1900 Atlantic City - William Eldridge age 71
Phebe age 57
Let me check the census for 1830 and see if I might possibly figure out that William. I'll get back to you.
