Dave, thanks very much. I think the possibility of James, Jesse, and Joshua is most likely a strong YES. At some time in the past, I came across a Jonathan Eldridge that came into Morgan CO, KY 1810. He married Polly Griffith, I think, 1839!? Unless that was a different Jonathan. I thought he might have been the father of James & Jesse. My grandfather was Kendrick ELDRIDGE, married Mary Maxie/Maxey. His father was Jim Eldridge, but I think it was really James. His father was most likely Jesse Eldridge. My grandfather had a sister named Rebeccah Eldridge that married William Isaac Maxie/Maxey jr. Jim/James Eldridge had a sister Sally/Sallie Eldridge that married William Isaac Maxie/Maxey sr. I believe I remember that my grandfather Kendrick had a sister named Susannah/Susann, he also, I think, had a sister named Rachel. He had brothers, but I don't remember their names. But I think one was Jimmy/Jimmie. I'm trying to piece it together between Morgan, Elliott, Lawrence Counties. The skeletons in the closet have fallen out! Some of them lived around Louisa, Lawrence CO, KY. Any help is appreciated!
