Your Elizabeth was most likely the daughter of Young Eldridge son of Samuel Eldridge. Samuel was first Eldridge that I can find in NC. He was son of Samuel, and that Samuel was son of Samuel Eldridge whose Will is in "Isle of Wright" CO, VA So far can only find 4 children for Samuel in NC, John, Young, William, there listed with them in a census was Loverd, I think male??? From census's it appears that Samuel NC must have married a second time, census showed him old with female about 20 years younger and small children. So, I think more children other than in those census. I am trying to find a James Eldridge that might be listed with him. Should you come across such info I would greatly appreciate it if you would send it to me. Hope this helps you, Martie
