Hi! I was born in Elliott CO, KY. My grandfather was Kendrick Eldridge, son of Jim Eldridge and Elizabeth Smith-Eldridge, I believe Jesse Eldridge was my grandfather's grandfather and possibly the son of James Eldridge, sr. Possibly Jesse had a brother named James and a sister named Sarah that married William Riley Maxey/Maxie. I am working on this. Check out my latest posting. "ELDRIDGE researchers check this out!" It may be our beginning. You probably are aware that our ancestors named their children after family members, John, James, Jesse, Sarah, Elizabeth, William, etc. I am inclined to believe this is our beginning.
