Martin Van Buren Eldridge, b 1818 in Overton County, Tn. married 1) Aggie Franklin. They had 6 children, the third of whom was James M. Eldridge. Aggie died after 1864, and Martin then married her sister, Ellen. Aggie and Ellen were daughters of Edward Franklin, Sr. Martin is buried at the Campground Cemetery in Overton County.

If this is your Martin, I would be very interested in any info about Aggie's descendants.
