As i said earlier genealogy is a work in progress... I have found confilcting evidence on WILLIAM, ROBERT, & SAMUEL ELDRED. 1, The Eldredge Family Homepage shows them as brothers... http://www.geocities.com/littlaEldridge/eldridge_hm.htm there are also sevral other sources that agree with this school of thought. 2, Bradford W. Luther- however does not.. He wrote "ELDRED ELDREDGE ELDRIDGE in New England"published 1994 it is his thought that Samuel was cousin to William & Robert. I have come across alot of other info. some that says William was Uncle of Robert & many birth dates some going as far back 1606.. None of which I've been able to prove or disprove.
