The (one of the) daughter of Albert Eldredge/Minnie Carto was Dorothy M., and she was somehow connected to Clifton Swift, connected well enough to have left her a trust fund from Swift & Co., that provided her with income until she passed in November of 2000, as I understand it. I heard her talk about Clifton many times in her life. Clifton may have been Dorothy's first husband, her second (?) being ROwland Newkirk CLoud, my maternal grandfather.
