I do not know if any of these soldiers below are related to your ELDREDGE. This is not my family, and I do not have any further information. Jan

~Joseph W. ELDREDGE, of Warren, Vermont, served in 11th Regiment, Company H, and died 24 June 1864 of disease. page 439;

~James E. ELDREDGE, of Warren, Vermont, served in 3rd Regiment, Company F, was taken prisoner 16 April 1862; paroled 11 May 1862, promoted 2nd Lieut. Co. H, 11th Vt. 13 Aug. 1862. page 91; and

~Charles B. ELDRIDGE, town of residence not listed, served in 1st Regiment Cavalry, Company K, and was discharged 8 Jan. 1863 for disability. page 258.

Also, William ELDREDGE served from April 12, 1814 to April 21, 1814 in Capt. Eseck Sprague's Company, Sumner's Regt. per page 148 in "STATE OF VERMONT ROSTER OF SOLDIERS in the WAR OF 1812-14", 1933.
