We are looking for parentage information for Frederick N. Eldredge. He was born April 1854 in Vermont and died August 23, 1914 in Des Moines, Iowa. In the 1900 and 1910 Des Moines Iowa Cenus, his occupation is listed as a minister. His birthplace was NY, his father's NY or Vermont. The 1880 census indicates his mother's birthplace as Canada. In 1875 he married Alace Minerva (?). Her birthplace is Wisconsin and indicates her parents were from NY. They had three children: Lulu Maude, d.o.b. 1877, Clarence Henry, d.o.b. 1879 (born in Waukon, Iowa), and Frederick S., d.o.b. 1890.

My father, Frederick H. Eldredge be be 92 yrs. young on Sept. 13th. He so deparately wants to obtain more information about his parents and their ancestors, but we have not been successful. To do so would be the ultimate birthday present.
