Hi I am also searching for the ELDERS. I just saw your post today hope you have not stopped looking, The ELDERS I am looking for married into the SMITH family,ENOCH SMITH married ABIGALE ELDER, ther daughter JULIA SMITH born 1827 married WILEY DRAYTON O`SHIELDS of Spartanburg He also was in the Holcombe Legionin the CIVIL WAR. that would be my great grand parents,I have no other information on My ggrandmother except she is buried at the Philadephia baptist church in Pauline S,C I would like to share information .
