Hi all,

I don't know if I am related or not but what I can say is that I am from the island of Barbados. There are plenty of Elcocks here on the island and just like you, I am trying to locate some of these relatives.

My Dad name is Ethan Earl Elcock and he was married to Doriel Elcock (nee Als). My dad is originally from the parish of St. George on the island. He has been living in England for the last 37 years and has just return to settle on the island.

I never knew my grandfather or my grandmother but I understand my grandfather was considered to be a white man on the island. My grandmother was black and her surname was Sargeant, I don't remember the first name.

I do hope that I was able to help in some way.
