John D. Elam early 1900's OK

I'm looking for confirmation of John D. Elam coming from possibly the Ochelata OK area. Have found a Sarah(Sadie) Elam interred there, supposedly his mother. I have no family history before him , including his own. Timeline of 1915 to 1940 in OK. Family not sure where he came from or where he went after Albuquerque NM in the 1950's. Family hints at him moving to California with another wife. All/any help would be welcome.
