My dear cuz Doug, You have forgotten me already? The name changed so many times, The German accent was a killer to the spelling here in America, I do know that my name Ekers came from Germany I have searched it there and yes it changed many times Ekas, Ekiss, Eker,Ekis,Ekkis,Ekker,Icker,Ikker, Ickes, Ickiss...gawd I could go on forever but, rest a sure we are all from the same bunch. There are many people who just can not believe such a thing. But, I have looked and every time the family fits togeather, so, Don't forget Ekers when you add the list of our family names. <<winks...i know you wont!!
